Victoria BC Canada Transit Application

This application provides information of the Transit System of City of Victoria and the nearby regions on Vancouver Island in British Columbia Canada .The data is presented in tables. The user can navigate by drilling down to specific features listed as follows:
Regional maps showing all Bus Routes.
Individual Bus Routes complete with detail maps and schedules. The schedules have additional information on the specific times the buses will be able to carry bicycles.
Transit Exchanges are also illustrated with maps depicting the bus stop locations.
Transit Fares and General Tariffs are provided.
A list of vendors where the user can purchase transit passes and tickets.
The data was obtained from the web site http://www.busonline.ca/regions/vic/ with the permission of the BC Transit Commission. The web site information was modified to suit the parameters of the iPhone/iPod regarding the presentation to a small screen size and the requirements of employing gesturing control to interface with the application.
